Cookies and storage we use
Our cookie names start with __Host-: your browser then only accepts them from our own site over a secure connection, so no other site or subdomain can set or change them.

Settings you choose
The local storage items in the table (currency, snow, whiteout and music) are not set when you visit. Each one is saved on your device only when you actively use that setting, for example by pressing the music button, so the site remembers the choice you just made. Until you do, nothing is stored and the default applies. They are never sent to us or anyone else. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings; the defaults then apply again.
Analytics
No analytics runs until you explicitly opt in. Before you choose “Accept all” or switch analytics on above, no page views are sent, nothing is counted and nothing is stored for analytics. We don’t use a third-party analytics tool or tag: counting is done by a few lines of our own code, which stay switched off until you opt in, and switch off again the moment you withdraw.
If you opt in, your browser tells our own server which public page you opened, and we add 1 to a counter for that page and day. We don’t set a cookie for this, don’t store your IP address or any identifier, and nothing is shared with anyone. Pages inside your account are never counted.
Fonts and third parties
Our fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn’t contact Google or any other font service. The only third party that sets cookies is Stripe, our payment provider. Its two cookies are set when the payment step of sign-up, or a card update, loads, for fraud prevention; your browser then keeps each one for the time shown in the table, even if you move to other pages. See Stripe’s cookie information.
